Overview
Modern society views the internet as an invisible, weightless cloud, yet daily digital connectivity actually requires massive industrial infrastructure. This dangerous misconception hides the devastating environmental consequences of discarded hardware, resulting in millions of tonnes of toxic electronic waste polluting the earth. TerraByte is an immersive spatial exhibition that translates hidden digital infrastructure and massive datasets into a bold physical reality to expose the true environmental cost of global communication. By bridging the gap between virtual convenience and tangible ecological destruction, TerraByte empowers viewers to confront the physical footprint of the digital age and demands a radical shift toward sustainable technology consumption.
